Redwood Highway

We parked last night on an exit ramp to get some sleep. I woke up at 3:30 and Arlyn and I got everyone buckled back in so we could cover some miles while they slept. My hubby thought I was crazy, but I figured I could get in some miles before breakfast! We thought we were going over golden gate bridge , and thus we took some touristy pics for the occasion. However, after we had crossed, we realized we went over the wrong one, lol! Boo hoo! O well! It was a nice bridge too, and I am sure they were happy, cuz they charged us 15 dollrs toll.  We stopped for breakfast, and since the fun parent was in charge, we had donuts !  I seem to always be the practical one! But Hey, cut me some slack, yesterday I paid a tourists price for salt water taffy! My husband was so proud! I am trying to not be so frugal! Notice the pic of the shiny dash? That is compliments of my not so brilliant idea ! I was tired of taking pictures out of a smeared windshield, so I decided I would use the gas station squeegee on the inside of the window. Well. . . .ok, so it drips a little! No problem, smile sweetly at your confused husband and grab a few extra paper towels! Walaa. . . .two items cleaned in one fatal swoop!
