We slept last night at a view area on i70. We bucckledd the children back in their belts and got back on the road about 5am. We were going to drive farther last night, but didn't want to drive in the dark and miss the view! We stopped at Wal-Mart about 8am. Arlyn heated up the breakfast while I went inside to buy his gift! I had to replenish the supply of depends for the bedwetters. I was talking to the lady in the checkout and telling her we were on a long trip with 8 children, and I guarantee she stared knowingly at the 40 pack of womens depends and concluded that 8 children must have caused that condition!! I decided it would be best to not to even try to defend myself! It was the strangest thing. . . It was 30 degrees outside and everyone was in short sleeves or jackets. It felt like 55 degrees. Must be the lack of humidity. The children entertained themselves with a shopping cart and by playing tumbleweed tag!
